Summary of the project
The project Comics for the Planet links art with climate change awareness raising. The project is mainly based on the call for the creation of comics, elaborated by young people/artists, whose plot line is the protection of the environment, the dissemination of the natural heritage and the need to take care of it. To this aim, a call for the competition is published. Then, coinciding with the celebration of the 13th International Comic Fair of Huelva, a well-known meeting for the Ninth Art lovers, a jury composed of authors of recognized prestige will award the best comics among all participants. Then, the works will be collected in a publication and in an exposition that can be visited during the International Comic Fair ensuring a great visibility among the public and, above all, raising awareness with didactic and attractive support on the need to act against climate change.
